About Us

Brains for Compassion (BforC) has been successfully working as a catalyst for change and positive impact since March 2020. Our mission is to introduce the best practices to strengthen the positive impact around the world, simultaneously creating an equal space for both men and women, and to grow together.

Meet Varsha Kothari (Founder, Brains for Compassion)

"We, as human beings, have the option to select and choose what we like to be and where we see ourselves in future. I have gone through this phase in my life and I am very proud to say that I choose to work for the communities around us which fulfil my soul to the best. Since childhood, I have gained aspirations and have been inspired by the people around me. I always wanted to support women and girls so that they can have their own voice and be heard. The social dilemma in which we are living is biased for women in so many ways regardless of how much progress we are making. Through Brains for Compassion, wings of hope will be nurtured so that we all can fly with our dreams and desires.

Brains for Compassion (BforC) came into existence with the same inspiration and motivation. Women have the power to transform the society and the only thing needed is to support and embrace their knowledge and wisdom. We, with BforC, came with an idea to start an all women organisation where women from different parts of the world can come together and help each other to grow in whatever possible manner they can.

Let's be part of this journey and bring out the best among all! "

Jyothi G (CoFounder, Brains for Compassion)

Jyothi has been working as a freelance NGO Consultant for women and children's rights for about 20yrs. She believes that human beings are gifted with knowledge not to hold on to oneself but to share it for the welfare of the human race. Her value proposition is to grow holding hands of fellow beings and enjoy the path walked together. To realise her belief and add value to her preposition, Jyothi intends to bring women together as a community to work towards bringing small changes, small joys and to share knowledge for individuals, organisations, communities.

During her journey she got inspired by various environmental scientists, and thus started adopting a lifestyle that is in tune with nature. Networking with individuals & organisations, and promoting the concept of building social support systems for mental wellbeing have been her passion. She loves traveling & learning from people’s experience and Jyothi is a practitioner of Heartfulness Meditation.
